  2. Prepare a minipad by making a pocket in the absorbent layers by either cutting a 25mm (1 inch) slit in the absorbent layers with a pair of sharp scissors or cutting the top off the minipad. With the point of the scissors create a pocket for the Urosensor™ to slide into. (The downloadable instructions include alternative methods of locating the Urosensor™)
  3. Remove the Urosensor™ from the alarm cradle and insert in the minipad with the black sensing strips facing your child’s crotch.
  4. Stick the minipad into the crotch of your child’s underwear making sure that the Urosensor™ is near where the urine will be passed.

    • Swallowing or placing a non-lithium button battery inside any part of the body can cause serious injuries.
    • Medical attention should be sought immediately if you suspect that your child has swallowed or placed a button battery inside any part of the body.

      It works!

Our 9 yr old was still wetting most nights, we’d tried medication but it didn’t really help, he was wetting through night nappies and saturating the bed several nights a week. I was skeptical about trying an alarm and it was definitely a few weeks of hard work - getting up through the night to ensure he went to the toilet when the alarm went off. At first it seemed to get worse as he was woken every single night, however we persisted and after about 2-3 weeks he had a night with no alarm and no wetting. Then another, and another… 3 weeks later we are alarm -free and he has been consistently dry! This has never happened. Worth every cent.

      Game changer!

I’ve waited 7wks to review to give my honest opinion. In the past I could count on one hand the times my 8 year olds been dry overnight. She would wake every morning with a wet nappy. Finally decided to buy an alarm. I was worried she would not wake for it, or it would upset her but she took to it totally fine! We started with it inserted in her nappy then quickly moved to it just being in underwear. Each week the alarm was going off less and less, or she would wake herself to go before it went off. After 6wks we have taken it away. She will either stay dry the whole night or the odd time will wake up herself up and go. No accidents since. It has reset her rhythm and changed her confidence. An absolute game changer for us, stick with it, it does work!

Hi Chelsea, We're thrilled to hear how well your daughter responded to the alarm and how it's helped reset her rhythm and boost her confidence. Your journey is truly encouraging, and we're sure it will give hope to other families going through the same challenges.

      Great alarm BUT.....

Within 2 weeks the alarm taught my sons body to hold so our accidents are at a minimum. His body still doesn't wake in the night. This is way better than where we were at and im hoping the body will eventually register the night time wake for a wee if needed.

My main gripe is the batteries DO NOT last or it is the alarm. We used it for about a month or less, then as we were going away I wanted to take it but the battery was dead. I got a new battery on our return. Our trip caused a regression so we are back with the alarm but 2 weeks later it is dead again. I'm about to get another battery so will see what happens.

      Works well

The volume of the alarm works as a deterrent but does mean my son is reluctant to use it
