"Its advanced metal-free Urosensor™ means no skin irritation and its compact design makes it ultra comfortable to wear. The alarm comes with one Urosensor™ and batteries.
- Two part wireless system with no wires. Urosensor™ transmits directly to the alarm avoiding the need for a separate transmitter which the sensor has to be plugged into. No fiddly clips or domes that can break or damage. Easy, convenient and comfortable. Great for older children and restless sleepers.
- Patented moulded plastic Urosensor™. Sealed unit so urine cannot damage the electronics. Easy to clean and dry for instant re-use.
- Urosensor™ goes right inside the underpants. The best position for quick detection of urine leakage.
- Urosensor™ can be inserted inside pull-ups or diapers. The child can stay in diapers or pull-ups during training.
- No metal contacts. Doesn’t corrode or deteriorate in urine.
- Safety wireless electronics. Completely safe and no risk of skin irritation.
- Urosensor™ can transmit to more than one alarm. Parents/ caregivers can have an alarm in their bedroom.
- Maximum alerting alarm. The alarm rings at around 98 decibels. Frequency of the alarm is set at the resonant frequency of the ear which is most effective for alerting the brain.
- The alarm comes with CR2354 ‘coin’ battery. Will last for at least three months of nightly use triggering twice a night and therefore shouldn’t need changing during the normal treatment period.
- Volume adjustment inside alarm unit. Tamper-proof.
- Urosensor™ includes long-life battery with special battery saving technology. Urosensor™ shouldn’t need to be replaced during the normal treatment period. The battery will last at least a year if it is used nightly and triggers the alarm twice a night.
- Put the DRI Sleeper® alarm unit on a bedside table and switch it on. It will beep rapidly 5 times.
- Prepare a minipad by making a pocket in the absorbent layers by either cutting a 25mm (1 inch) slit in the absorbent layers with a pair of sharp scissors or cutting the top off the minipad. With the point of the scissors create a pocket for the Urosensor™ to slide into. (The downloadable instructions include alternative methods of locating the Urosensor™)
- Remove the Urosensor™ from the alarm cradle and insert in the minipad with the black sensing strips facing your child’s crotch.
- Stick the minipad into the crotch of your child’s underwear making sure that the Urosensor™ is near where the urine will be passed.

Warning: Button/Coin Batteries are hazardous if swallowed.
The DRI Sleeper eclipse base unit contains a CR2354 button/coin cell type lithium battery which is hazardous if swallowed. The Eclipse now has a secure double-action battery compartment. Older versions of the Eclipse have a single action battery compartment. Older models of the DRI Sleeper Excel used LR44 (alkaline) button type batteries.
- Do not allow children to change the battery.
- Dispose of used batteries immediately and keep out of reach of children.
- Regularly check and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured. Safely dispose of and replace the unit if the compartment is damaged and not secure.
Please be aware:
- Swallowing or placing a lithium button battery inside any part of the body can cause severe injury or death in 2 hours or less.
- Swallowing or placing a non-lithium button battery inside any part of the body can cause serious injuries.
- Medical attention should be sought immediately if you suspect that your child has swallowed or placed a button battery inside any part of the body.

How do they work?

We are only about 2weeks into this journey with our super deep sleeper who has declined hearing as well.
However it is super easy for them to take charge of their journey with this device and despite our daughter’s hearing being reduced (awaiting grommets) it still manages to wake her.

It's a funny little thing but does work. Our daughter found it easy to use. It would stop some times, we'd find her wet in the morning and the alarm hadn't gone off. But it did get her to stop wetting within a week.

My nearly 7 year old was desperate to not have to wear nappies to bed anymore, I was recommended an alarm and so told him we could give it a go. First few nights were tough, would go off four times in the night and I would have to get up and support him, I was feeling unsure if this would work for us but then suddenly a dry night, then the next and the next, sleeping through, no alarm no wet bed after 6 nights dry went away on holiday staying away from his own bed and routine and not one wet bed since. Our 9 yr old was still wetting most nights, we’d tried medication but it didn’t really help, he was wetting through night nappies and saturating the bed several nights a week. I was skeptical about trying an alarm and it was definitely a few weeks of hard work - getting up through the night to ensure he went to the toilet when the alarm went off. At first it seemed to get worse as he was woken every single night, however we persisted and after about 2-3 weeks he had a night with no alarm and no wetting. Then another, and another… 3 weeks later we are alarm -free and he has been consistently dry! This has never happened. Worth every cent.
