Brolly Sheets has been helping Kiwi families through night wetting and toilet training since 2006, and the Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner is one of the simplest tools in the range. Slip it inside a sleeping bag and the sleeping bag stays protected, whether that's at home, on a school camp, or away visiting family.

It now comes in two sizes: Kids (170cm x 70cm, with a side opening for easy in-and-out access) and the newly added Adult (Length 185cm x Width 80cm, currently available in Navy), so bigger kids and grown-ups travelling or camping can get the same coverage.

Underneath, it's two layers of 100% cotton jersey bonded with a thin waterproof polyurethane membrane. One single piece of fabric, about the weight of a flannelette sheet, waterproof on both sides to stop leaks reaching the sleeping bag and to keep ground moisture from reaching the sleeper. Every liner is third-party tested and Green Leaf certified as environmentally sustainable and non-toxic. Read more about the test and program by clicking here

FAQs

Does the Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner absorb wetness or just block it?

It's a waterproof barrier, not an absorbent product. Two layers of cotton jersey are bonded with a waterproof polyurethane membrane, so accidents are contained on top of the liner rather than soaked into it; the sleeping bag underneath stays completely dry.

What size sleeping bag liner do I need?

Choose Kids (170cm x 70cm) for a standard child sleeping bag, or the newly added Adult size (Length 185cm x Width 80cm) for teens and adults using a full-size sleeping bag.

Can adults use the Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner?

Yes, an Adult size (185cm x 80cm) has been added to the range, currently available in Navy, so older kids, teens and adults can use the same waterproof protection as the original Kids size.

Is the liner suitable for camping, not just bedwetting protection?

Yes. Because it's waterproof on both sides, it also stops ground moisture from reaching the sleeper, making it useful for camping and outdoor sleepovers as well as night-time toilet training.

How do I wash it?

Wash separately before first use to soften the fabric, then cold or warm machine wash only. Turn inside out and spin again if water is trapped after washing, and line dry or tumble dry on low. Avoid ironing, dry cleaning, bleach and fabric softener.

Is it certified safe and sustainable?

Yes, the Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner is third-party tested and Green Leaf certified as environmentally sustainable and non-toxic.

People Also Ask

What is a sleeping bag liner for?

A sleeping bag liner adds a protective layer inside a sleeping bag. Some add warmth, while waterproof versions like Brolly's protect against wet accidents, sweat or ground moisture reaching the sleeper.

Do sleeping bag liners come in adult sizes?

Yes, though not every brand offers them. Brolly's Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner now comes in an Adult size (185cm x 80cm) as well as the original Kids size (170cm x 70cm).

Are waterproof sleeping bag liners the same as absorbent bedwetting products?

No, a waterproof liner blocks moisture from passing through it, while absorbent products soak moisture up. Brolly's Cotton Sleeping Bag Liner is a waterproof barrier, not an absorbent pad.

    Super effective sleeping bag liner!

Fantastic! Grandson used while away camping. The liner was comfortable and best of all it did stop wetness from seeping into his sleeping bag. Easy to wash the liner and it dried quickly. Everyone happy!

    Long time to shop

Please be aware that some items like this come from NZ to AU and take. Long time to ship. The items that come from NZ aren't identified until you order. Very disappointed.

Hi Alex, We're sorry to hear that we didn't meet your expectations. We operate 2 warehouses and we split orders between the 2 warehouses on the basis of stock availability. Because we have so many different variations, where the stock is sent from will always be moving, hence we do not put it on the website by SKU. During a sale, our warehouses are busier than normal, and an order received on a Friday afternoon will not get packed until the Monday.
