We recommend adding 2-3 tablespoons baking soda to the wash when you add your regular liquid detergent. Baking soda will neutralise the urine odour. Sunlight also removes most smells and hanging the underwear in the sun to dry will also assist in removing the odour. We also appreciate your suggestion about a removable absorbent layer and will pass that feedback on.

Thanks for your feedback. Our training pants are designed for the child who is on the way to night-time dryness and isn’t filing a disposable. We want a child to feel the wetness and for their brain to start to get the message about being wet.
If your child does a large wee, which can happen with night training without the conscious effort to stop the wee while we are awake, it can eventually leak out past the waterproof layer. This is why we recommend pairing the night training pants with a brolly sheet to ensure that the mattress is protected.
