I've bought a couple of these for my boy, after a few of overnight accidents we can't seem to get the urine smell out of the undies.
Have tried soaking, washing, different washing liquid but it's still there. Also it would be really good if you could take the absorbent inner put as it takes agggeeeees to dry - even in the Hawkes bay sun. Often when I check them they still feel damp š
BSBrolly Sheets NZ31 seconds agoWe recommend adding 2-3 tablespoons baking soda to the wash when you add your regular liquid detergent. Baking soda will neutralise the urine odour. Sunlight also removes most smells and hanging the underwear in the sun to dry will also assist in removing the odour. We also appreciate your suggestion about a removable absorbent layer and will pass that feedback on.

Love the design I found them a bit tight fit. Havenāt helped our bed wetting with just the pants so going to try the insert to see if it will give us no accidents.
BSBrolly Sheets NZ1 month agoThanks for your feedback. Our training pants are designed for the child who is on the way to night-time dryness and isnāt filing a disposable. We want a child to feel the wetness and for their brain to start to get the message about being wet.
If your child does a large wee, which can happen with night training without the conscious effort to stop the wee while we are awake, it can eventually leak out past the waterproof layer. My 5 year old was very excited to wear these ābig boy pantsā. They look and fit great. They donāt hold as much as I had hoped ( still wet s through them each time he has an accident) but paired with the brolly sheet, they work well. Im definately happy weāve been able to reduce our use of disposable nappies
